All my paintings are really portraits as they are  a poetic reflection of life. I create art for people that love nature and art that captures their memories forever.    My paintings are inspired by the drama of light, color, shadow and the rhythm in a composition. I love to tell stories with my art, the deeper and more powerful the story, the more I want to paint it.

I am naturally attracted to pastels not just because of my affinity for drawing but for my desire to express myself directly with my hands; pastels have always felt like a direct extension of my fingers.
